STARK Tornado – bucket sweeper
STARK Tornado bucket sweepers are designed for areas where high cleaning power and durability are required of the sweeper unit, such as streets, yards, industrial areas, ports, and sorting centers. Tornado bucket sweeper can be used near walls which makes it the most effective attachment for sweeping diverse and labyrinthine areas.
Tornado -bucket sweeper can be used on property maintenance machines, tractors and wheel loaders under 10 tons.
Tornado comes standard with sweeper float system. Support rollers with ball bearings (sold as an accessory) allow the bucket sweeper to follow the surface closely, improving usability and performance.
The device features 900 mm lamellas as standard. Tornado 1600 comes with 700 mm lamellas for better visibility with small base machines.
The cleaning efficiency can be further increased with the
- High-pressure dust binding system
- High pressure washer (gun)
- 12/24V watering system
- Side brushes (left and right)
You can control all these accessories from the cabin, thanks to STARK block hydraulics and with only two hydraulic hoses from the base machine.
Due to its low design, it can also be used with a SPINNER turning device.
Operating principle of the Bucket sweeper:
1) When driving forward, the bucket sweeper easily collects even larger pieces, such as pieces of board, boulders or pieces of plastic.
2) When driving backwards with the bucket sweeper, you can finish the brushing result by collecting even the finest material.

Applicability
Technologies
900 Line
Bristles with an increased diameter of 900 mm. Faster and more efficient cleaning. Longer wear life compared to standard 700 mm bristles.
DBS Dust binding system
The STARK DBS Dust binding system is the most efficient system in the market for containing dust generated while sweeping. A large water tank and high-pressure nozzles with free alignment and placement make the STARK DBS system a unique technology.
The hydraulic high-pressure pump turns water into dense mist, binding the dust generated from the swept surface. The mist also binds fine dust particles and consumes less water while minimising hardened dust accumulation in sweeper structures, decreasing fuel consumption and improving work efficiency.
The DBS Dust binding system enables sweeping in population centres and urban areas where street dust is more hazardous.
Requirements for hydraulics
Connection with at least two hoses, at least one double-acting hydraulic block, oil flow must be 40-120 l/min.
