General information

The STARK RELAX diagonal plow is a strong all-purpose plow that is ideal for cleaning footpaths, cycleways, and streets in urban areas. The diagonal plow can be used on tractors, property management machines and wheel loaders.

Thanks to the RELAX blade system, the blade remains locked when plowing. Thanks to this, snow gets removed evenly, and significantly less packed snow is formed. When the blade hits an obstacle, the blade system lock is released, the blade body turns backwards and the blade slides over the obstacle. This protects the driver, the attachment, and the base machine from collision damage. A plow with a RELAX blade system can be pushed more forcefully against the ground to remove packed snow.

Due to its optimal wing geometry and blade angle, the RELAX diagonal plowboasts excellent snow throwing properties. The plow is also stable and easy to push, thanks to its sturdy construction, advanced floating and optimized weight. The plow floats both vertically and horizontally, which ensures a top-quality plowing result also at high speeds.

When plowing, the plow slides steadily on the rotating and infinitely adjustable support legs. Due to its optimal blade angle and centre of gravity, formation of packed snow is minimal. The plow is turned by two cylinders, which enables a plowing angle of ± 38 °. Should the plow collide with something, the plow hydraulics are protected by a pressure relief valve.

All RELAX plows come with a set of bolt-on STARK FIT adapters. The adapters can therefore be changed easily to suit different base machines.

A snow stopper, available as an accessory, ensures high-quality track on roads with many interjections, without clogging the driveways. The plow features a bracket for the snow stop, so no welding is needed for coupling.

The snow stopper also requires one double-acting hydraulic block or solenoid valve.

Available models D 3400 R, D 3700 R.

The long life of the STARK attachment is guaranteed by the STARK service.

Technologies

RELAX - Stark

RELAX – UNIQUE PATENTED BLADE SYSTEM

The RELAX blade system keeps the plow blades locked. The plow´s trace is smooth and the formation of the packed snow is considerably less.
When the blade strikes an obstacle, the blade system lock is released, the blade body turns backwards and the blade passes over the obstacle. This protects the driver, implement and base machine from collision damage.
The plow with the RELAX blade system can be pressed against the plowed surface, which allows removal of the packed snow.

How the RELAX blade system works:

  • The blade body is mechanically locked by three joints (Figure 1.).
  • As the load increases, the lock is released and the blade body makes a rapid and extensive evasive movement (Figure 2.).
  • When the load is released, the spring returns the blade body back to the lock (Figure 1.).
  • The blade release force can be infinitely adjusted by changing the angle of the joints (Figure 3.).

The greater the angle between the joints (Figure 1.), the lighter the lock will open. WHEN TIGHTENING THE NUT the release force DECREASES, WHEN LOOSENING THE NUT the release force INCREASES (Figure 3.).

FLOATING FRAME- Stark

FLOATING FRAME

FLOATING FRAME -technology gives you a very good working result.
The float closely follows the ground, the sliding plates and the positioning of the float reduce the bouncing of the unit during work. The implement can float vertically and horizontally (Figure 1.) without the implement being controlled by the base machine.

The float is positioned at the implement mount, which also allows the payload of the swivel frame and a good focus on the implement (Figure 2.). The sliding plates are maintenance-free (no lubrication required) and dampen plow bounce (Figure 3.).

Stark FIT

STARK FIT

The STARK FIT is a tool attachment system that enables quick attachment between different basic machines.

Thanks to carefully designed sizing, the STARK FIT allows the use of more than 50 different adapters on the same implement. This increases the versatility and resale value of the implement.

Due to its rugged dimensions (16 pcs x M 24), it is also suitable for installing the largest implement mounts.

Requirements for hydraulics

Сonnection with two hoses, requires one double-acting hydraulic block. The snow stopper also requires one double-acting hydraulic block or solenoid valve.
